Celebrating the New Year with a revamped webiste!
Finally
I’ve been wanting to revamp my website for a while now and finally, I’ve migrated my website using 🚀Astro, and I’m loving it! I’m still on the process of developing my website but I’m happy to deploy it to production. My website was previously built with Ghost and comparing with Astro, Astro is blazing fast. I’m now experiencing the benefits of an SSG (Static Site Generator).
A worry arises
Publishing blog posts may not be user-friendly. As of writing I’m using VSCode to write this post. I’ve also done some tests and another obstacle is everytime I publish a blog I will be needing to build the website again, It’s fast but still.
With these worries I did some research and I’m looking at using CMS along with Astro or Server-Side Rendering (SSR) from Astro. I’m still not sure what’s the best solution for my needs so I’m holding on implementing it on my website. For now, I’ll just post using MarkDown (MD).
The Holiday Break
This holiday break I’ve been busy spending time with the most important people in my life but I’ve been learning and developing my website from time to time, and it’s fun!
The Website
I’ve been wanting my website to contain my Professional and Personal Life as these are both a part of who I am. In this website you can browse the Projects that I do in my career as an Architect and also Blog Posts of anything that interests me. I’ve integrated a Blog section in my website not just to share thighs that interests me but also to practice and enhance my skills in writing, so bare with me. I’m also planning to share my learnings in tech through blogs posts and I hope that you may pick-up something useful too. 😊
That is all for now!
Maligayang Bagong Taon! 🎆
